Competitive teddy bear photos.
It all began in January 2004, when I took a photograph of Bob in Norway. He'd accompanied me
on holiday for two reasons: A) I'd have a friendly face with me, no matter where I went. And B)
If I got into a sticky situation, I'd have something to burn for heat.
Before long Bob and Curly's friendship had become poisoned with petty jealousy and they've been
trying to outdo and top each other ever since. Literally in Curly's case, when he became the UK's
highest ted. Read on for their amazing ego-driven adventures!
• Curly gets lasered in Rhodes. An unusual photo from 2002 shows this bear in great peril. [More Rhodes]
• Bob in Fläm, Norway. A stunning location for what's clearly a very attractive bear. 3/01/04. [More Norway]
• Curly on Ben Nevis. At the time (and still now, possibly) Curly was the highest bear in the UK, at a bit over 4,400ft. 25/06/05. [More Scotland]
• With Amalthea (left) and Ulorin Vex. Doing a photo-shoot and interview for ETO, these two lovely ladies were happy to meet Bob. 8/07/05. [More Twins]
• Bob in Dublin. It's become something of a habit now, to bring a bear with me as I travel around the world. 5/01/06. [More Ireland]
• Curly gets friendly with Jessica Drake. She's a well know actress in err... Well, they're sort of exercise videos, I suppose. Simply charming. 27/01/06.

• Curly at the Temple del Sagrat Cor, Tibidado, overlooking the funfair and the city of 'Bearcelona'. [More Barcelona]

• Curly in Gaudi Parc with the stunning Sagrada Familia behind him. An amazing building/site.
• In Parc Güell, Curly met this famous inhabitant. Moments before I took this picture, he fell in the water! Poor wet bear. The sun soon dried him out.
• Still looking a little damp on one of the park's famous mosaic, snaking benches, with the tower of the gatehouse and the city beyond. A wonderful spot!
• Curly beside Miro's Lady with Bird, in Parc Joan Miro.
• Unwinding in the bath after a busy day. Err, that is a bath, isn't it?

• Curly in his Prisonbear (see above) jacket meets Playboy model Kate D'arcy. A very nice lady we chatted to at the AOE show in Berlin. April '06.
• The Brandenburger Gate in Berlin, with Curly. The 25th was a lovely hot day while I (we) were in the city for ETO magazine. [More Berlin]
• Bob on top of Scafell Pike. I climbed England's highest peak on the 12th of August 2006 while geocaching. Bob came along.[More Cumbria]

• August '06. Curly meets a Spearmint Rhino dancer, Danni in a Soho cellar sex shop. Hence he's naked. (Note the lack of bow)
