• Bob in Dublin. It's become something of a habit now, to bring a bear with me as I travel around the world. Well, it gets them out in the fresh air. [More Bears]
• The Liffey. I liked this river which runs through Dublin. To my mind it's just the right width. Not pointlessly wide like the Thames in London, or too wimpy.
• Looking along the river at night. I never caught the name of this bridge, but I loved how its arches are lit by green light at night. Cool!
• 'The Stiletto in the Ghetto'. This 120m tall spire replaces a statue of Nelson blown-up in 1966 by the IRA. 'The Floozie in the Jacuzzi' was once close by.
• James Joyce. Writer, dead person, statue. He's close to the big spike talked about above.
• The Ha'Penny Bridge. One of Dublin's most enduring (no one ever blew it up) landmarks links 'The West Bank' with the 'Gazza Strip' - Local names.
• Roguish Finger. "He crossed under Tommy Moore's roguish finger. They did right to put him up over a urinal: meeting of the waters." In the steps of Ulysses.
• The Ha'Penny Bridge again. Another angle. This picture doesn't show it, but half the people in Dublin are Chinese. Fact!
• Close to the castle. I really liked the front of this building. Don't ask me why. It's not as simple as that.
• Wine Bar Open. No it fooking isn't. I love it when signs demonstrably lie.
• Me, looking tired. I'd had two busy days in Ireland and it was showing. From Dublin it was back on the coach (£10.30/€15 - bargain) to Belfast.
• Belfast city centre. You can tell no one wanted to spend much money here for about 30 years. It's a shame, but it is getting better.
• Queen Victoria in Belfast. I think she suspects something may be going on behind her back...
