Thighs Alight!

The route seemed punctuated by bloody big hills. Actually, it was (for me at least) punctuated by the sight of crashed cyclists clutching body parts whilst moaning in agony by the side of the road. The place seemed awash with blood on some particularly perilous sections where the road was steeply down hill and tight. I had a couple of close calls myself with indifferent cyclists. They (we?) can really be a shockingly selfish bunch sometimes. Fortunately, there were several gangs of children along the route with supersoaker water guns to bring them (us?) down a peg or two.
